If you go the “settings/preferences” (click on the green checkmark in the upper-righthand corner of the main window) you will be able to select the language(s) you would like to be automatically selected from the source disk and also for the subtitles of your copy. Go to: Streams > Audio. To pre select subtitles: Streams > Subpicture.
NOTE: If the DVDFab interface language itself is set to German, those navigation keywords are different: Tonspuren > Tonspur -und/oder- Tonspuren > Untertitel
By preselcting only the language(s) you want, the amount of data that needs to copied from the sorce disk is lower. Don’t worry, DVDFab will automatically compress the data you’ve selected to fit on a single disk, but if you don’t need all the other languages, don’t make DVDFag copy them for you. With less data to write, you’ll get a higher-quality less compressed single-disk copy.
Regardless of the current language settings, DVDFab displays everything that’s available on that particalar disk, you can always change the defult selections by checkmarking exactly what you want (and what you don’t).
NOTE: If you are missing a German audio track on your copy, first of all make sure that the original DVD has a German audio track to start with! Most Region-1 disks (N. America) don’t.
Hope this helps,
