"No disk in drive" message

vbimport

I am trying to burn an already converted movie and keep getting the message about no disk in drive. I was using re-writable media and then I tried a brand new (out of package) disk and still get that message. I am using ConvertXtoDVD. There is definitely a disk in the drive.

I tried updating the driver for my hardware but supposedly there is no update. Help!!

Can the drive still read burned discs, including RW discs? Can you burn anything outside of ConvertXtoDVD?

Try a different burning program. I suggest ImgBurn, though you should be careful with its installer. It is one of the best burning programs around.

You can also try removing upper and lower filters and see if that helps. (long shot)
