Nmc_processing_exception during audio transcoding in NeroVision 5

vbimport

#1

Hi,

I just bought Nero 8 and DTS plugin couple of days ago and I’m trying to convert couple of avi files (from camcorder) into DVD using Nero Vision 5 on my Windows XP/AMDx64 dual core/2GB RAM PC. I could create 3D menus/chapters and they play well in the preview. All great so far. However, when I try to burn the project into a DVD, it encodes menus for a few minutes before throwing an error. Looks like it can’t encode it’s own audio clips that play in the background when menu is on. Here is the relevant portion from the error log. Full error log attached. -

I tried changing the audio format from 5.1 to 2.0, but even then it throws the same error, now for cube_title.mpg instead of cube_title.ac3.

Any ideas what may be going wrong here? What Is this a known issue? I somehow feel that I’m almost there, it’s probably just an issue with right codec not being found by Nero. (All of the files being used are good, my .avi as well as Nero’s audio files play well from other applications like Windows Media player or Nero Showtime.)

Thanks.
