Yeah I have an idea for the coolest video game system ever. It's a lot like the XBOX. Standard PC equipment but scaled down. Two controllers. It'll play games off two different types of discs. One type of disc is copy protected, one is not. This way the company that makes it can sell games for like 50 bucks so they can sell the system really cheap. However, the system also comes with a firewire port that connects to your PC and a game development kit that you can install on your PC. And I'm not talking about something cheap, I'm talking about a C compiler, that links to OpenGL and everything. That way people would buy it because Programmers could make their own console games without spending two years hacking everything and making emulators and everyone else would want to play the games their programmer friends made. Also when you come out with a sequel to a game, you can release the first one, as open source so anybody that wishes too can modify the game in whatever way they choose.
