Nintendo’s latest mobile game Super Mario Run will only be playable with a working internet connection to protect the game against piracy, Mario creator Shigeru Miyamoto told Mashable in an interview.

Super Mario Run is the first mobile game from Nintendo and also Mario’s first appearance on smartphones.
Um… you realize that Pokemon is owned by Nintendo (and a few others, I think). Pokemon Go is being played by too freaking many people (who probably need to start caring more about privacy) to ignore.

Also:

Nintendo previously considered to offer the singleplayer modus called ‘World Tour’ without the always-on requirement, [B]but that was too complicated[/B], according to Miyamoto.
Yeah… that’s it… not adding malware is “too complicated”. What a load of BS.

I don’t have an IOS device, but if I did, I would stay away from this app, and others like it. :Z:Z:Z:Z
