Nimo Codec and DivX Pro Player

Ok so i have this Divx file that supposedly needs nimo codec b/c i have no sound. I have DivX Player 2.0 Alpha. And I downloaded the Nimo codec 5.0. I downloded the Nimo software already. But when i went to play the divx file there was still no sound. Any suggestions on how to correctly install this? Thanks so much.

Errrr - I assume you don’t own this movie - if you do, you would’ve known what sort of codec it required. I might be wrong, so you might need to clarify more or wait for the mods to close this thread - when they wake up, that is

I do own the movie there pal. And thanks… your reply did me wonders!!!

I’d like to recommend GSpot 2.0 - Codec Information Appliance or similarly-featured software. You can find it here (10/26).

(The source AVI files were SDTV-captured and then encoded with Nandub.)

Awesome, thanks for your reply. So basically what this program tells you is what type of codec you need and where to find the software. Is that right?. I have not tried it yet cause im at work. If so thats great.
