G’day all,

While I was making a routine backup of my personal files, I decided to scan one of the backup discs and this is what I found.

Verbatim 16X DVD-R
Made in Taiwan (Prodisc)
Written at 16X on Pioneer DVR-115D f/w 1.18
Scanned with BenQ DW1640 f/w BSRB

This is probably the nicest burn I have seen with MCC 03RG20 - EVER.

Wow, that IS nice, especially for a 16x burn …even the jitter’s nice!

I can compete with a 18x burn on a Made in India Verbie

BenQ scan vs. LiteOn scan though, so not that compareable

    • Corrected thread title so that searching on MID will find the thread * *

The first time I’ve ever used this MID was with 100 disc spindle from OM for 15$ and that was CMC MAP6 .
It is very good media regarding PIF/Jitter (~6.xx average) but PIE is 100.000-200.000 total

Sometimes Prodisc made Verbatims can be quite good

Here’s the latest i burned at 12x. These are my preferred backup discs. Verbatim FF printables from svp
