[LEFT]Developed by NHK and now known as a new step in ‘imaging-history’, we can announce the existence of a new prototype system which is capable of displaying 8K (7,680x4320 pixels) video resolution. Besides the prototype, the broadcaster developed everything needed for possible reproduction.

“To reproduce the image clarity, the broadcaster has also developed a matching 8K studio camera, hard drive recorder and a high-bandwidth optical transmission system via IP networking,” says Philip Wong on CNet.com.

To enjoy this image quality you should go to Japan and check out the country’s Kyushu National Museum.
