Thanks Dalen

Thanks. Off to Officemax I go. I have three ink jet carts, total of $6.00 dollars. That I handed in awhile ago to use. I hope they still have AZO UAE.

#4

You’d better stock up on AZO. There is this rumor that Verbatim is discontinuing AZO for everything except BD-R. :frowning:

#5

Thanks Dalen, looks like a may have to pick up a few verbs as well.

Just one question about the Verbs at Officemax. I looked it up on line and did not see it listed for the add for my Zip code. So I did notice it was on line for the above price and printed the page out. They should price match at the store right? Thanks…

Give me a $50 10X blu-ray burner & 25 packs of sl bd-r media for $20 and I’m there… to heck with azo for dvd-rs-- until then the loss of azo is just that, a loss

#8

YMMV Thunderbolt… They don’t pricematch the website locally for me. If it isn’t listed in my zip’s ad, then I’m out of luck.

#9

There’s a $5.00 off printable coupon on the Verbatims at Office Max too.

:clap:VERBS @Office Max $5 off printable coupon

21.99 - 5off coupon = 16.99
which is an even better deal! I am also looking at the email they sent me with the coupons and it says 16.99

I am going to go check this week and see if either of the 3 near me have AZO disks. If they do, I’m in for 2 one DVD+R and one DVD-R

Went to my local OM and they had plenty of the AZO DVD-R’s in stock, however only a couple of the AZO DVD+R’s (the rest were the “lifeseries,” same price though). Picked some AZO’s up for a total of ~$18.41 after tax. Great deal, especially for a B&M store! Thanks OP!

#17

Thanks for pointing out that extra $5 off coupon. $16.99 for a 100-pack is the best deal in a long time.

BTW, you only have to print the first page. There are three pages, but only the first one has the Verbatim coupon.

#18

My store has never had the plus in the UAE disks though they finally got some in the minus so I bought another pack. They also have both styles up, the new life ones, and the old good ones.
Picked up a pack of the CDR’s too as I’ve been doing a lot of disks lately for my step dad who is a musician and mostly retired. He’s thrilled to have copies of his old bands to listen to and send to all his old band mates.
11.99 for 100 is a no brainer if you still use em, and the coupon idea is pretty good, at least it isn’t a rebate you have to wait for or get screwed outa.
Thanks!

Kudos for pointing that out… @ 21.99 the deal is too much to consider at the moment but $16.99 and is lower than current newegg deals by a bit (around $1.54-- I factor in 8.62% NY sales tax… which is about the price of gas 1/2 gallon getting there… doh!) Still, there is a psychological boost to go shopping & getting a bargain at a b&m vs etailing all the time, no? although these are rare finds.

Although the picture in the coupon shows the (to be discontinued?) azo dye… you might be finding life series in store so ymmv. Best call to confirm, unless your going that way.

I picked up a pack of Verbatim CD-R at Office Max. I was expecting to see Verbatim listed under the manufacturer information, but they are:

Nero CD-DVD Speed: Disc Info
Basic Information
Disc type: : CD-R
Manufacturer: : Moser Baer
MID : 97m17s06f
Write speeds: : 8 X - 16 X - 24 X - 32 X - 40 X - 48 X
Capacity: : 79:59.74
: 703 MB
Extended Information
Usage : General
Disc Status : Empty
Raw Data
ATIP
0000 - D0 00 A0 00 61 11 06 00 4F 3B 4A 00 00 00 80 00 - …a…O;J…
0010 - 00 00 00 00 00 00 00 00 - …

Can you still find true Verbatim made MIDs or is rebadged stuff the norm now?
