Thanks Dalen…

Thanks. I wish OM would expunge the Verbatim 50-packs for $12.99 as before, since there’s still one store that I know of had some of the older 2005 -R and +R discs.

Thanks!

Thank you Dalen

Picked up my 100 pack of DVD+R’s and 100 pack of CD-R’s earlier. Heck I still have 2 other unopen dvd+r’s 100 pack.

Thanks Dalen

Dalen:

Thank you. As usual, Office Max offers great deals, especially the Verbatim DVD blanks.

DVD media aren’t the same as the old days of media manufacturing (where media could sit on a shelf for years without going bad)… within a couple of years they can go bad whether you use 'em or not… although YMMV keep that in mind. Especially with any important data, it’s always a good idea to keep making NEW archival copies if you want to maintin data integrity-- and keep that data separate from your other media so you don’t forget where it is and a timeline of when you last backed it up.

In case anyone needs cases, Staples has their 50-pack of slimline cases on sale for $4.99 this week, in-store or online (limit 10, regular price is $19.99 although lately it’s been on special for $10). You get 40 black and 10 colored cases; I’ve used these a lot and they are good quality. SKU is 445567.
