Next weeks ads (12/16/07 US)

I tried to upload these this morning but had to many issues with file transfer errors. I still havent figured out why that has been happening latlly (I have one therory though). Anyway, I just got home from work. Here is office max, staples, office depot and bestbuy (that I already had done from other sources). I’m starting on the rest now.

Thank you again ripit!

Some how the link for CC is not working. It is lots of work ripit thanks.

I havent done circuit city yet (scanning it right now).

Thanks ripit!

Circuit city is up. I was thinking that trying to transfer direct from a jump drive was causing transfer problems (maybe the jump drive wasn’t fast enough), but circuit city just uploaded fine from the jump drive.

It looks like compusa ads might be gone. I tried the normal link that normally works to get the ads a day early and it said, no current ad, check back tue, jun 16? I guess well know for sure tomorow.

I’m about the do the other stores and will fix the media tab.

Thanks ripit

Media tab is fixed. Added wallgreens, radio shack and cvs media. Added frys sun ad to the last tab. No media at sears or target.

ripit: Sweet!!!

Anybody heading to staples? Try this:

No need to wait. CompUSA stores are being liquidated as we speak. The stuff about waiting until January was a lie. They’re already shutting them down. No more ads. They’re history.

And the media ecosphere is officially dead. There’s no more media diversity. Almost everything for sale is an AM3 or M01 rebrand, and most of that is Memorex. Goodbye B&M shopping.

Lastly, did anyone notice that the Office Depot brand media is now rated at 18x? Do you suppose that’s just a packaging change, or is there actually a new Ritek or Ricoh media code for 18x media?

That is actually easier to read than the online ad.

Did I read right on the BB ad? Sony BR player $100 off plus the free stuff?
Format wars are heating up.

Thanks ripit

I think I’ll give it a month before I check out compusa (by then the prices might have dropped to where something might actually be a good deal).

16x media sucks (most of it, in my opinion anyway). I really wish there was more 8x media still floating around.

I think the office depot stuff is still 16x. I think it’s just the font they use in the ad. Even with the actual ad in hand, you have to look really close to tell for sure that it is 16x (checked the part numbers on their site and the package shown says 16x too). Actually, I take that back, the -r has the speed blanked out?

It’s 16X Check here: http://officedepot.shoplocal.com/officedepot/default.aspx?action=detail&flashbrowse=y&storeid=2279611&rapid=495904&pagenumber=14&listingid=-2092244408&ref=%2Fofficedepot%2Fdefault.aspx%3Faction%3Dbrowsepageflash%26storeid%3D2279611%26pagenumber%3D14%26rapid%3D495904%26prvid%3Dofficedepot-071216

The +R are Ritek F16

Did anyone else see this? I didn’t notice it until I read the thread on Slickdeals.com. It is a Circuit City misprint. We did not get a CC ad in my paper. Maybe this is why?
