I have a phillips 4.7gb dvd+r 1-16x speed. i recently burned it and immediately tried to access its contents and it said maps2.cab corrupted.

i have tried it on 2 different computers and tried using cdcheck and isoburner. didn’t work. any way i can access that .cab file?

Can you copy the file to the Hard Disk?

no, i also tried extracting .cab files, but said archive was corrupted

The only solution is try to read the disc with a different drive. In my personal experience, Pioneer are excellent readers, but if the disc is completely damaged or bad burned because of the too poor quality of the disc itself, then there is nothing you can do to recover files :frowning:

Make a new copy/burn.
