Canadians will finally have some competition for online shopping.
A wish come true for many.
Interesting, We will see what kind of prices are going to be offered to Canadians.
expected to be cheaper than US ?
It would be good to compare them to NCIX.
Newegg has been planning to expand into Canada for some time now. I think it was originally supposed to happen more than a year ago.

They probably got a tiny bit scared watching RadioShack fall on it’s butt.
For some reason I already thought Newegg had a presence in Canada under a different name, I can’t for the life of me think of it now.

Having dealt with both, though in the USA, I’d say there’s no comparison as far as customer service. The Egg rules. NCIX nsux.
Hey Canadians enjoy having reliable source landing in your area.
I’m still not getting any info on possible startup timeline … Not even a hint that I have read so far
Any inside info floating about ? LOL
Yea it’ll be up when it is up
I think these guys eat NCIX’s lunch,
Don’t know about Newegg though so we will see.
I wonder why Canadian don’t establish newegg style outfit that they don’t have to wait or hope for newegg to go there.
wasn’t http://www.futureshop.ca newegg too? but with not-as-cheap prices
I always had the idea that http://www.futureshop.ca was contected to Newegg in some manner but I never knew for sure. I guess I was wrong.
Is that means futureshop.com owns by newegg?.
That was what I was told by someone awhile back , but that does not make it true. I just assumed it was so, obviously I was wrong.
Future Shop operates as a division of Burnaby-based Best Buy Canada Ltd. ( Vancouver, BC ), a wholly-owned subsidiary of Best Buy Co., Inc.
This is the only affiliation that I am aware with Futureshop.
This makes better sence.
