A recent episode of in-laws babysitting, resulted in disaster for my DVD store bought movie collection. DVD movies are not 'Toddler Proof'. As a result, and to avoid WW3, I wish to make working copies of surviving DVD movies and future purchases.
Not computer savvy, I'm hoping for user recommendations on a "Copy DVD Movie" program or combination known for their "Ease of Use". Wording not typically found in most reviews. Seems the more I read, the more I question, where's the easy programs? ("Insert original DVD movie & click, Remove Movie & click, Insert DVD Blank & click, Remove when done")
My system: Stock Compaq 8000z, 120MB HD, 1GB RAM, Lite-On CD-RW Drive (model LTR-16102B) and DVD ROM (model GD-8000). Location: WA State, USA.
Secondly: Suggestion on Compaq compatibility DVD +/- recorder of reliable quality. $100. (+/-) range to replace current DVD Rom, so I can burn DVD's. Suggestions?
Any assistance or direction would be gratefully appreciated.
