Actually, icepax, you are wrong. It is possible to set up a file sharing network using UDP traffic. As you know, UDP traffic is one-way so IP addresses could be forged and there is no way to trace where the file you are receiving is coming from. Proxies would be used to initiate the connection and possible for error recovery/control, but the raw data files would be streamed using UDP traffic with forged IP headers and maybe some rudimentary forward error correction.
