I was jsut wondering if there was a thread somewhere where we could post our DVD protection issues, 'cos I didn’t find any here…
I actually use anydvd 126.96.36.199 (latest) with DVV Copy Platinum 4 (Intervideo). I never have problems copying dvd’s usually, but from time to time there seems to be a new protection not recognized by anydvd on recent movies.
Indeed, yesterday I tried to burn a new video movie “Suspect Zero” (2004, from director E. Elias Merhige, with Ben Kingsley). The copy went perfect but I was unable to read it in my player. The DVD did start but there was nothing but a black screen through all chapters. The DVD is Region 2, with logo “Sony pictures home entertainment”.
