dvdfab currently in alpha will be $60 cheaper and do the same thing basically.

I’ve just tried the 7-day demo and I am wholly underwhelmed.

At first, I though I might be onto something good with its editing facilities, but all it does is leave you with several MPEGs on the hard disc, after a very long time. Very handy, that!
So, you can’t produce a new, custom DVD with just the titles and chapters you want - the way the blurb implies.
Moreover, it appears not to do any compressing either, so you’re back to fooling around with two discs…

What is the real point of this software? As Pete has stated, it just creates oversized MPEG files! DVD Fab preview is available at www.dvdfab.com which splits a DVD over 2 discs too, but its a lot cheaper and has more functions!
