The Nemucod ransomware has been found to use the free open source archive software 7-Zip to encrypt files. Nemucod is pretty common JavaScript malware family distributed through spam emails.

If people click on spam mail then they deserve every bit of the ransom-ware. How many times have we been telling Spam ads don’t give you anything but spam… :a and now Ransom-wares.
