“Because of the compounds used in this technology, known as GST, or germanium-antimony-tellurium phase change materials, are routinely used to make inexpensive optical disks that are read from and written to with laser beams, and because of here at CDFreaks many people already know how much unreliable are cheap media to store data, I think that also extensive testing is necessary to determine the reliability of this materials to build optical storage systems.” Dude… thats one freakin long sentence… I dare you to read it out aloud without passing out. Also they are building memory chips, not optical storage systems. :slight_smile:
