If you buy all your music I assume you only buy original CD/DVD’s right? If this is the case then you probably don’t buy blanc discs, so you don’t pay any levies. However if you DO want to make a copy of a CD or DVD, then you buy a blanc disc. Then in the price is included a small levy for a compensation for the author. This is not more then fair; you copy HIS work onto a new carrier which he doesn’t get any money for.
