old, crappy, but still burnin’ Teac CD-R55s (4x) SCSI drive :4
I have a Plex 8x4x32 and a freecom 2x2x24. The freecom will do protections that the plex won’t and vice versa. There is nothing wrong with a 2 speed writer. Keep on burning!!
i love my 16x/10/40 plex. 24x plextor is on its way.
X16 yamaha over burns like a dream
Mine a plextor 8x4x32. The speed is good enough me - been burning great with no problems - except with some CDRWs.
Mitsumi CR-4801te (4x8) I got this sucker many years ago and it serves my purposes…
16X PLexie 16/10/40a!! What difference does a 16x to a 12x make? Enough time for you to go to the bathroom and take a piss! :8
I burn with 12x with my Ricoh 7120 shiwa you are not alone
Plexie 8x4x32 just ok for my age(54) nice and easy:7
Plextor 8/4/32 r0x :d
HP SCSI 8X 1 year of burning and no problems should i upgrade to 12x SCSI or buy a IDE burner 16x or 24x its a lot cheaper. tom
I burn with my 12x plextor I’ve been using for quite some time. It’s fast and never produces bad discs. Plextors the only way to go in my mind.
I’ve been using a HP8200i (4x) for a little over 2 years now never have a problem at all with it. Will be getting a SD2 compatible Acer soon tho. 20 min. to burn a full CD don’t bother me I’m used to it. :d
