Acer and Asus have reportedly decided not to ship any new entry-level netbook models this year, and Acer has pushed back the release of its highly-anticipated Android netbook.

Even if Asus and Acer are pushing back their latest round of netbooks, at least consumers understand both companies will have excellent products on the horizon.

I love my Eee PC, and may purchase another one in the fall.
