Netflix leads the online streaming market, growth expected in 2011.

[newsimage]http://static.rankone.nl/images_posts/2010/12/xkrl0Q.jpg[/newsimage]The NPD Group has discovered that 57 percent of Web-connected HDTVs are used to access Netflix instant streaming, which is a significant lead against YouTube and other online video rivals.  Netflix remains the most dominant video service, but will have to adjust to more rivals fighting over consumer attention in 2011.

No surprise there. When I’m BS’ing around at my desk on the computer I don’t mind clicking a few random Youtube videoes. When I’m sitting on my couch relaxing, I want either a TV show or a movie. Press play, sit back (for 20 min - 2 hours, depending on the content), and enjoy. There is too much interaction with youtube and similar sites.
