Nerovision Closings on Slideshow Preview/Burn

vbimport

#1

On setting up a slideshow and then moving to Preview or Burn, I get the error message that Nerovision has made an error and will have to be closed. An Error Message is recorded for Nerovision (nerovisionlog.txt) below, but no history log is written since the program never gets that far. Any suggestions?

I’m using Nero 6.6.1.4 here and Nerovision 3.1.?.? but the same thing occurs in Nero 7.5.?.?

You have searched your computer for “NeroHistory” and can’t find anything?

#3

No recent additions. Last was for Nero 7 in January.

#4

Wrong. There are 3 Nerohistory.log files in the system, let alone backups. I had found the Nero 7 one and the personal mydocuments\recent files. In Nero 6 there is one for the date and incident I describe above. Here it is:

What is the physical layout of your drives (Hard and DVD)as far as which IDE channel are they connected and which one is supposed to be Master.

I also found this, since you seem to be getting the “Cannot Connect TRF error” message. It basically says you need to increase the size of your Windows swap file, but the reference is below. If you are offended by bad language, you may not want to go, so I will break the link. Otherwise, do a Google search for that error message.

I have an ASUS P4P800 Deluxe Motherboard with 1GB RAM & Intel 2.8Mhz chip. In the beginning when the WD SATA showed up as secondary with no master, I queried ASUS about. They responded that that was normal for SATA’s.

I checked the swap file in System and found it at 2GB though 500 of that was on the System partition, G: and 1500odd on H:. Don’t know why I would have done that since I’ve previously read that it is best to have it on one partition. Anyway, changed it to 3000 MB all on H: and tried the Slideshow preview again, but got the same error message. However no additional error information was appended to the NeroHistory.log file; only the one shown here already for Feb. 7.

Are there still some *%#@ Normans or Latinists around who object to simple Anglo-Saxonisms?!
