NeroVision 3 Audio/video sync problems

I am trying to burn a DVD from an AVI file. The file is AVI - Xvid with VBR sound. NeroVision3 seems to have problems keeping audio in sync. I have run 2 different files and each loses sync ~ 20 min into the file.

Are there better/more reliable ways to go AVI->DVD? AVI->MPEG?

Hmmm… I would decompress the audio to WAV PCM to wav using virtualdub, and then add it as new audio from wav using virtualdub, dont recompress the video, select “Direct Stream Copy” and then save it as a new AVI.

Then try encoding, and it should be in sync.
