I am not having much luck getting NeroCMD to make multisession discs.
I set up a batch file to detect the errorlevel 26 to choose between making a new disc and continuing a session.
The making a new disc functions correctly, as does detecting and importing… but… the system insists on wanting a blank CD on which to write! Here’s the error:
C:\Documents and Settings\sa-admin.SANWT>c:\winnt erocmd @nero1.txt Imported volume name: CDNAME PHASE: BUP activated [i] Buffer Underrun Protection activated Reading directories Creating directories Checking discs Last detected media: unknown Requested media: CD-R/RW The disc is not empty. Please insert an empty disc.
I have tried different discs from different mfgr’s, including Sony.
I have downloaded the most recent versions as of today.
C:\Documents and Settings\sa-admin.SANWT>c:\winnt erocmd --version NeroCmd version 184.108.40.206 Nero API version 220.127.116.11 Ok.
Here’s the options I’m trying to use to Continue the multisession:
--write --real --drivename "e" --import --tao --iso CDNAME --close_session --underrun_prot ;--import_iso_only ;--disable_eject ;--no_user_interaction c:\backup --recursive
And, the options used to create it:
--write --real --drivename "e" --tao --iso CDNAME --close_session --underrun_prot ;--import_iso_only --disable_eject c:\backup --recursive
In both cases, I have tried it with and without the items commented.
Several people have posted that this works for them. I’d appreciate knowing what is different in your setup than in mine above. Thanks.
