Nero Vision application receives Blu-ray 'Direct to Disc' Cert.

The well known burning software Nero, has now moved up one more gear: The Vision Application received the Blu-ray 'Direct to Disc' Certification. In other words, Nero 7 guarantees consumers that the software is fully compatible with Blu-ray Disc specifications.This is an important step forward for Nero, as underlined by Jim Corbett, Executive Director, Nero AG:

Blu-ray Disc compatible applications already found in the Nero 7 software suite today include Nero Burning ROM and Nero Express, which enable Blu-ray Disc data recording on BD-R/RE media and the creation of 1:1 copies of any unprotected BD media. Consumers can also take advantage of the unprecedented capacity of Blu-ray Disc with Nero's award-winning Nero BackItUp data backup, InCD packet writing and toolkit applications.
