Can anyone tell me what is the best speed to copy and Audio CD with Nero 5.5.

If I use a lower than eight speed will I get a better quality reproduction of the orginal.

Also is nero the best for the job?

Many thanks in anticipation

If you’re using good hardware and CD-R’s you can burn audio at full speed just like data. I always burn at 12x and never had any problems with it… I think Nero is great for audio but I prefer CloneCD when I want to copy a complete audio CD atonce (just hit three buttons and you’re on your way ;))…

With IDE (especially without Burn Proof technology) I would recommend not go over 8 speed (on slower machines at max 4 speed) But as G@M3FR3@K said, it very much depends on your hardware.

When I include clicking the Nero shortcut on my desktop, it takes me 3 clicks to do a copy on the fly (be it audio or data)
