Nero Refuses To Burn Dvd's

vbimport

#1

I have latest version of Nero 6.3.1.20 and Sony DRU-510A drive.
I am unable to successfully burn DVD’s - I have 1 success and almost 10 coasters!
I have the drive as secondary IDE slave and have tried both DRD-R and DVD+R media with the same results (different brands).
I have also tried using Vison Express and make data disc, etc and all result in failure.
All starts off fine and then at about 20% into the write I get a write error.

Any clues as to what is wrong would be helpful.
I have given the gernerated error log below.

I can’t get Nero 6.3 to burn DVDs either. Do you have an older version you could reinstall? I reinstalled v6.0 and don’t have any problems with it at all.

By the way… Your Nero serial number is contained in your log file, and therefore your post.

Also have you already installed the latest Firmware for your drives.
And always do an BIOS update but be carefull in doing so
