Nero fails to burn audio

vbimport

#1

ive got a problem, i can burn data cd’s and data dvd’s using the writer, dvd but when i try to burn an audio cd it just wont let me. Il post the log which i get when it cancels the burn. I hope someone can help as it is starting to get annoying, ive gone through about 15 blank cds so far trying.
Ive re installed nero using the clean tool from nero’s site
ive also updated the firm ware for my burner in an attempt to rectify this problem.
ive also be told of for post the same question in other forums ie benq/philips dvds but only because i thaught it may have been a hardware problem.
can someone please make sense of this list and explain what is happening.

Hi, I believe I have the same problem. I can burn data cd’s without any problem, but since about 2 weeks for no apparent reason I cannot burn an Audio cd (from mp3). I have removed and reinstalled nero 6 and 7 several times and even tried Burrrn. Nero just closes down the audio cd window and burrn gave an awkward error message (I forgot the message … and cannot reproduce it here). Other things I did was verifying that my IDE channels are set to DMA and I replaced Nero’s mp3 dll files with ones I picked from the net … al didn’t work.
Next options I will try are to reinstall my ASPI drivers and de-install the windows updates from the last month … as soon as I have time … but I will let you know if it worked out.

Reinstalling ASAPI drivers did not work.

ASPI, not ASAPI
