Nero failed burns? Error

vbimport

Hi…

Thanks in advance for any assistance you can give.

I’m trying to burn some dvd files using my laptop and an NEC 3520 in an external USB 2.0 bay. Using standard v1.24 firmware that was on it.

Using Nero OEM that came with drive, version is 6.3.1.25

For some reason it is burning fine using these Laser dvd+r’s x4 but is not working at all when trying to use these Ritek dvd-r x8(G05)???

But I have checked and it appears the Riteks are supported.

When I try and run the Nero CD-DVD speed tool using the Ritek’s I get the following error message:
Error! Parameter value invalid (052602)

On the last burn I tried to do I got this log message (have just pasted end of it.

Can anyone advise what is wrong as I am not that experienced but cannot figure out what I’m doing wrong???

 Thanks…

Welcome to CDF:). IMHO, I think your problem is your external enclosure. You might find help here or here .

I usually start at the end of the threads and work backwards:).

Let us(and them) know if you find a solution.
