Maybe changin your media, what for media you’re usin and do you’ve used to burn from your hdd or on the fly? And please delete your nero serial number.

thanks for answering,
the media brand of the blank dvds i am using is SIX dvd+r 120min for video and data 1-8x.(i believe Tayo yuden)
I am burning the data stored from an external usb hard disk connected via usb2,so i guess on the fly if thats what u mean ( i don-t have copied the datas on my notebook hard disk for the burning process but i let nero taking from the otside hard disk during the burning) using a portable notebook.
the problem is that in the past i have used the same dvds and they used to work, could it be a problem of the udf/iso setting for the burning into nero 7? the fyle system for UDF was 1.02.in addiction could it be a problem of software conflict? on the laptop i am also running alcohol 120%.
p.s. i am trying to edit my post for the serial but it does-not appear in between the options now, before yes.
waiting for a reply
thanks

Six should be Taiyo Yuden, never heard of it could only be fake, suggesting trying another media and burning your Data DVD as DVD-ROM (ISO only)

rapid fire i understand but why they used to work before?
do u see any problems having alcohol installed as well, for conflicts?
you suggest dvd-rom iso mode and not udf if i got it right.
but in the log as u can see are reported some nero errors,-1066 ecc. what about those?
how cai i edit my original post now?
thanks

Yes, but sometimes are brands and manufacturers of media different.
Another thing you said it worked before, do you had at this time alcohol installed?

@ carrera
Your error log shows many inconsistencies related to CD and/or DVD burning…it seems to be not sure of what it is burning. It could be poor quality media, but I would recommend removing your Nero and all other burning programs using the Nero Clean Tools and then reboot your system and reinstall ONLY the newest version of Nero possible. Then try another burn. Also if you do not use the InCD packet writing software that comes with Nero, do not install it. If you do not know what it is, then you do not use it.

Keep us posted with your progress

Just how many times are you going to post this question. By my count it’s 3 times so far.

Please respect the forum rules & don’t continue this cross postings.

I’ve reported this thread and the others to the moderators.

dear phenomenon as you can read i am brand new in forums so instead of behaving like a perfect … try to understand …if you are able to!!!

Carrera, don’t misunderstand me but he’s right, just read the forum rules and how to use it, next time you’ll know. So don’t worry be happy

ok i will do it,sorry for that…

I have closed all other threads leaving a link to this one. Please refrain from crossposting in the future.

thanks,I will try what you suggest and will let You know…cheers

btw the problem seems to be media related as rapid_fire has allready mentioned. Just try other media and the error will probably disappear. If not you can try what please has suggested. Actually updating to the latest Nero 7 version is obligatory given the bugs the first version had

ok…working on it…will let you know

where can i find the latest update for nero 7?

does anyone know?

www.nero.com should work

:o

Not a problem
