Nero Compilations

I’ve just moved to a new computer and assigned different drive letters to where I’ve stored my Nero compilations and media files. On my old computer the compilations referenced files on the E: drive. Those files are now on the L: drive.

Is there an easy way to change the compilations so that they point to the new drive and folder location?

I know that I could open the compilations up in Notepad and make the changes, but that’s too tedious for the number of comps I have.

I had the exact same situation. The tech guy at my office did this for me:

Instead of typing the command every time, he opened notepad and typed the command, then saved it with the file extension .BAT

He pasted the information from the help file below:

SUBST: Associates a path with a drive letter.

SUBST [drive1: [drive2:]path]
SUBST drive1: /D

drive1: Specifies a virtual drive to which you want to assign a path.
[drive2:]path Specifies a physical drive and path you want to assign to
a virtual drive.
/D Deletes a substituted (virtual) drive.

Type SUBST with no parameters to display a list of current virtual drives.

Hope that helps!
