Nero chokes on Cue w/ Individual SongFiles.ape’s

I burn APEs all the time with Nero without decompressing but can’t remember if I have done the following successfully before and could not do it today.

I had a .cue file, but instead of one big album.ape file each song was already in an individual .ape file, which he cue file pointed to one file at a time. I’m sure I could just drag the .apes into Nero one at a time in the right order and burn that way, but the files were named file1.ape, file2.ape, file3.ape. All the Performer / Song Title Information was in the .cue file.

Nero choked and would not burn the files using the .cue. I finally gave up and used EAC audio copy which worked fine but it DID NOT write CD-Text to the disc. Fortunately Roxio Jewel Case Creator somehow new what album it was and got the track info from CDDB.com.

Help with making EAC write CD-TEXT is also appreciated.

Try Burrrn (www.burrrn.net). It’s free & does CD-TEXT.
