I have just installed Nero CD-DVD Speed 18.104.22.168 onto a computer of mine that has Nero 22.214.171.124 on it. I didn’t think the fact that Nero 126.96.36.199 is on there would matter, because I just copied the latest WNASPI32.DLL version 188.8.131.52 into the same directory as CDSpeed.exe. But I used a diagnostic program to look at CDSpeed.exe, and it is actually loading an older WNASPI32.DLL version 184.108.40.206 from the Nero 220.127.116.11 directory.
So a couple questions:
Does it matter that CD-DVD Speed is using the older WNASPI32.DLL version 18.104.22.168, or does it require the latest version 22.214.171.124?
If it does require the latest version of WNASPI32.DLL, then can I just replace the old version in the Nero 126.96.36.199 directory with the latest version? Is the latest version fully compatible with Nero 188.8.131.52, or could it break something in Nero 184.108.40.206?
