I have just installed Nero CD-DVD Speed 126.96.36.199 onto a computer of mine that has Nero 188.8.131.52 on it. I didn't think the fact that Nero 184.108.40.206 is on there would matter, because I just copied the latest WNASPI32.DLL version 220.127.116.11 into the same directory as CDSpeed.exe. But I used a diagnostic program to look at CDSpeed.exe, and it is actually loading an older WNASPI32.DLL version 18.104.22.168 from the Nero 22.214.171.124 directory.
So a couple questions:
1) Does it matter that CD-DVD Speed is using the older WNASPI32.DLL version 126.96.36.199, or does it require the latest version 188.8.131.52?
2) If it does require the latest version of WNASPI32.DLL, then can I just replace the old version in the Nero 184.108.40.206 directory with the latest version? Is the latest version fully compatible with Nero 220.127.116.11, or could it break something in Nero 18.104.22.168?
