Is this HD compatible or just SD? One would hope that it would do HD. Or else it would be a waste of money.

How is this different from having Windows Media Center and a TV tuner card on your PC?

The press release says nothing about HD, so I assume it is not supported…

This is different from a Windows Media Center with tuner card because you get the TiVo service.

Is anyone willing to shell out 100 to 200 bucks for this? If so, please post why. Are we paying for the TiVo interface or something? Most of these features come with any tuner card in a bundle anyway. For this “deal” you pay 99 dollars not once -BUT EVERY YEAR!!! I simply don’t get it  :disagree:

Some people absolutely love the TiVo service/interface. Don’t ask me why, I’m not one of them.

So what about Directv, and HD over Directv?
