Any idea whats causing it because it just started happening. I can’t seem to get one good burn and its $#!*&$ me off. :a

Is that all it is? I mean I realize I’m using crappy dvds but I’ve never had this much trouble. I can’t get a single one to finish burning.

Yup, mostly the biggest problem, only by using cheap DVDs.

Here is another error report. I’ll get some other dvds then. Can you tell me what I should look for to diagnose the issue? Does Nero have a log of error codes or something? Also, how in the Hell do I enable dma? I used to have it enabled and I go into device mgr and unselect auto select then restart but Nero keeps telling me no dma???

Well thats a load off. Well gang, turns out that it was the dvd’s all along. Thing is this is the first time this has ever happened. I bought some dvd-rw’s today and burned one with no issues and quite quickly.

I plan to use these to test any movie files I may have this way I’ll save discs. I tried to exchange the crappy dvd’s but Fry’s isn’t WalMart and won’t take them back because I was missing some and didn’t have all the packaging.

Basically their return policy is leave the store and we keep your money.
