Nero 7751: Data Verification Completed Successfully...BUT log file shows errors!

Does anybody else get these conflicting messages?

The burn goes well (Ridata R03 DVD+R 8x @ 8x), but errors are found during verification. BUT…Nero displays the “Data Verification Completed Successfully” pop-up! IF I check the log file, it definately shows errors. If I run a quality scan with CD\DVD Speed, the burn is near perfect (97%). This happens quite a lot since I installed this new version of Nero. Nero just posted a new version 7.8.5.0. You could try that – but it broke the Vista DiscCopy gadget. So, if you’re using Vista, that’s something to consider.

Thanks…I didn’t know the update was available. I installed Nero v7850 and the problem hasn’t returned (yet!). Will have to do more testing…
