My DVD-RW/CDR combo TS-L532A, burns perfectly CDR, but almost all DVD-R and DVD+R after burning sessions without visible errors, the discs are recognized cy the drive as empty…
The last log is attached.
I’ve found this error :
Sense Key: 0x05 (KEY_ILLEGAL_REQUEST)

That’s usually the sign of a bad burner. They develop problems on the DVD side first. Also laptop burners are not very robust.
Another possibility is that your rather old burner (2004?) can’t handle the [B]16X[/B] discs you are using, CMC MAG Media Type ID: M01. Have you had success in the past with these?
You could try burning with ImgBurn (free) to rule out a Nero problem.
