DivXNetworks,
the company behind DivX has announced it has opened an European Office in
Dortmund, Germany. General manager of the office is Dino Mari, former employee
of Engelmann Media. DivxNetworks and Engelmann Media have been cooperating the
last few months and one of the products as a result of this cooperation is MovieJack 3.
"The new European office marks another milestone of
DivXNetworks as a company, which is eager to deliver not only the best-of-class
technology, but also a dedicated service and support towards its partners in
Europe", said Dino Mari.
Besides Engelmann Media also KiSS technology is located
in Europe (Denmark) and was the first company to release a DivX enabled DVD
player.
