NERO 6. something Issues

Can someone help me figure out what the ERROR LOG is reporting about my attempt to backup my childrens DVD’s. I’ve had to result to trying to burn , yes the movies that I OWN. I have three beautiful girls that LOVE to distrpoy DVD’s. I have a HP 3200 XP machine w/ 512 MB RAM and it came with a DVD-ROM and a CDRW. I purchased the MADDOG (NEC-2500A) Dual layer 6-1 DVDburner. After useing (-) media from KHypermedia I’ve gone out and purchased some SONY DVD+R, by the suggestion of the salesperson at Compusa and tried that. I tried to record a moive that I have on the harddrive after DVD Shrink shrank it and it started to burn to the DVD+R then about a few minutes into it I got this report:

I really dont have to great of an idea but its obvious that 1 or 2 things have happened 1 either the dvd was scratched so that it could not read a sector of the data … or 2 the cd might be encripted… but i can give you an alternative way to burn a perfect dvd back up and it wont cost you a dime nickel or penny … just may be some searching lol …
what you need
1 dvd decryptor its free (or at least last time i checked it was , this program will bypass or actually decrypt the cd and then create an iso for you to copy to a dvd without the copyrite protection…)
2 dvd shrink once the file has been decrypted (that is if it is, not all dvds are) you can use this program to change the size of the video data (meaning that alot of dvds are sometimes more than 4.5 gigs long so they wont fit on a dvd) so this one will let you remove certain portions of the dvd information like extra language preferences and the menus… plus it allows you to change the quality a little to tweak the compilation … it sounds complicated but its really simple. the only thing is you need nero to burn the program on to disk ( you might be able to use another program but mine uses nero and burns it automatically after changing the file size) this program is fairly fast although the speed depends on the # of files that are being copied and the amount of shrinkage i think that word fits applied. so …that brings me to …
#3 nero … you can pick up a demo version from somewhere i have nero 6 so i dont need the demo but people have been posting the address for it all over the forum so … yeah there you go … if you have any other questions as to how those programs work feel free to message me… although if you ask the question in the forum others can get the answer to the same problemmm … anyway hoped this helped … (lol is it possible to be long winded over the computer?) …
