Nero 6- Invalid block address

vbimport

#1

Hello. I am attempting to burn a number of files totaling a little over 2 gigs onto a DVD, but it fails and gives the error Invalid black address.

At first, I noticed DMA was off in the log, but after researching a bit I uninstalled the Nvidia IDE drivers through Add/remove programs.
Then I restarted and windows installed the generic IDE controller, I burned a cd and that seemed to work, and the log said DMA: ON. Then I tried burning this DVD again and it had the same problem. Here’s the most recent log:

Your drive doesn’t like your media…it doesn’t even list it in the log where it should be. What brand are you using? The drive is getting a little long in the tooth, might be time for a new one.

#3

I’m using maxell brand DVD+R. I’ve burned with these just fine in the past. This is the first data DVD I’ve made with this drive if it makes a difference. I know it is old, but I barely use it, I’ve burned probably less than 50 cds and less than 15 DVD since I’ve had it.

To much dust on the lens? Try to clean it.
