Nero 6 "Could not perform end of disc at once" error

Trying to figure out how to burn DVD’s. Read through the great tutorials available on the boards. Now that I’m at the end of the process, you can imagine how frustrating this final step is for me.

Every time I try to write a DVD+R with Nero Burning ROM, I receive the error “Could not perform end of disc at once.” This along with the annoying fact that my drive likes to eject and reload the disc several times whenever Nero is active is infuriating.

I’m definatly new to this process and would greatly appreciate any help that you all could provide.

Here is the log that I have saved from this error.

2 questiongs;

  1. Are you dropping your vob,bup,ifo, ect… files into the video_ts folder?
  2. Does your burner function correctly during other types of burns?

Yes, I’m dropping the files into the video_ts folder. And besides the annoying opening/closing of the burner, I have managed to make a few more discs. I am new to it, so there haven’t been many.

One successful burn was a data disc created using Nero. And I had one other where I captured a couple of important home movies and burned them using InterVideo DVD Creator.

I finally got a DVD movie to burn properly. I actually found a firmware upgrade for my burner. Once that was installed, everything seems to work perfectly now.

Thanks for trying to help VOB_4ME.
