Nero 5 and windows 2000

I have a problem with nero Versions 4.91 - (4.88 works) On my windows 2000 system if I try to make an audio cd from mp3’s on a cd. the files are checked ok if there any gaps in the file names then I come to burn nero bombs out with a “No such file or directory” error. CDRWIN 3.8a will write the cd’s ok also. Anybody got any ideas
