When burning an audio CD from MP3, the track times are doubled. That is, a 13 minute and 30 minute MP3 file are reported by Nero as 27 and 61 minutes, respectively.

Wow, that’s really strange. I just checked on my system and it doesn’t do that at all.
That seems to come -once again- from the fact that the file is a mono MP3.
We are already investigating this issue…
We identified the problem: It comes from the low bitrate of the file. With such a low bitrate it is not anymore MPEG 1 Layer 3, but MPEG 2 layer 3… and this makes a huge difference on the internal frame size…
So assume this issue will be fixed in the next release. I am currently trying to see if we can have a “hotfix” for this issue so that it does not take so long.
