Howdy,
My Lite-On iHAS422 died after 2 months of use and the RMA isn’t worth effort.
I’m looking to buy the best burner around at the moment for around $30-40 U.S.D.
I use TY G02 DVD-R for primarily burning data discs, and video DVD-Rs.
I also use TY media for audio CDs on occasion.
I’d appreciate any assistance that could be provided.

I have done some research and am torn between the Sony Optiarc AD-7240S and the Pioneer DVR-217DBK. Which drive would be best for burning Data DVD-R, Video DVD-R, Audio CD-R, and ripping CDs with Exact Audio Copy?
I would like to order one of these drives very soon and would appreciate any feedback.

How bout the Plextor PX-850SA. I read somewhere that this drive is the equivalent only with better firmware. I currently own this drive and so far it’s been churning out XBOX 360 games like butter!
