Need to make an international friendly DVD

Hey all…I wasn’t sure where to start my research but hopefully you can give me some pointers. I have some family in Eastern Europe (Hungary) that I want to send some home digital video burnt onto a DVD. I know nothing about region codes are any of that so I’m curious if either this is a no-brainer or if there’s a lot of work to be done to make it work.

They would be viewing it on a standalone DVD player, not sure of the manufacturer…if that matters.

I have a LiteOn 451S DVD/RW and use Nero, or WinDVD Creator or burn with.

Thanks for any help you can be.

If its a home digital video then you won’t have to worry about Region coding - just author the DVD and burn it and you should be right - your only problem is what media format their DVD player supports.

Region coding is something put on commercial releases.
