I have a legal dvd of bf2.But cant seem to make a working backup.Ive looked through your forums and cant seem to find anything about BF2 dvd version to backup. Ive tried the steps of doing it for a cd version ( alcohol 120 to burn it and cloneyxxl to find out what protection it uses, safedisc v2)But every time i copy the disc it will not install properly… Is there a step im missing or theres no way of burning a dvd game?
Success in copying protected games is mostly hardware dependent.
Some drives can do it and some simply cannot.
2 sheep drives capable of correct EFM are usually able to accomplish this feat.
Most Lite-On drives are capable of correct EFM.

DVD Writers dont burn in RAW Mode as yet and probably never will, EFM is not even in the equation. The only way a backup will work is via Emulation or via a Virtual Drive. BF2 DVD uses Safedisc v4.
Use Aray, Clony is long dead.
