Need some advice

CD, DVD and (Ultra HD) Blu-ray Writers

This is my first post, so I hope ya bear with me. I have a Sony DDU1615/B2s & NEC 3540A. The Sony bit the dust (will not read) wore it out I guess. I want to replace the Sony with another burner. I want one with the black panel. I’m happy with the NEC, but I don’t want to wear it out reading and writing both. If ya have any suggestions let me know.

BTW I mainly use TY discs to burn SL with and Verbatim for DL burns.

I would say take a Benq 1640 or 1650 as second drive.
The Benqs are great readers/rippers and good quality scanners too.
Further, you’ll get maybe the best writers out there. :bow: :bow:

Thanks for the info. I am considering the Benq 1655. Have been unable to find the 1640 or 1650 in black.
