Need new DVD reader for home theatre pc

My DVD reader in my HTPC has gone belly up and is failing to read discs, its pretty old now (Creative 5x DVD) but has served me well. I now need to replace it and I would like to do replace it with something that is able to be quiet when playing DVD or CDRs. This would preferably activated by hardware automatically rather than through a software ‘patch’ like CD-Bremse.
The drive should also be able to read all the major formats (CD, CDR, CDRW, DVD, DVD+R, DVDRW).

Other than that it just needs to be tray loading and connected via IDE and work under WinXP.

thanks in advance
Ian
